Jacob & the Jackals - Band of the Month September 2007
Jacob & the Jackals was formed in 2003, and has since that worked their steady
way to the top of the Swedish blues-scene by playing everything from small bars
right up to Swedens greatest bluesfestivals. Intimate and charismatic liveshows
has to become the bands trademark.
The trio's third CD contains 11 originals and brings together a mix of Southern
Soul and Acoustic Delta Blues with an authentic feel. Guest musicans add the
right support and feel for their songs in tribute to the music of the Deep
South in a convincing manner.
