The Blues situation in Sweden is quite Ok I would like to say. At least if you live in Stockholm as I do. Almost every day there is some place where you can listen to live blues and on the weekends you can choose btween two or three different blues concerts. But I guess that´s not the way everywhere in Sweden. And I think swedish blues bands are as good as many from the US. There is also a great friendship between the blues artists in Sweden. Instead of compeeting they are trying to help each other. (Maybe that´s the way in other countries as well, I don´t know) In Sweden we also have a great Blues Magazine, Jefferson, but as stratas said. We have no radio station playing the blues. Not even a radio program. How come you ask? Where are you from? Are you staying in Sweden? Where? For how long? Maybe someone at this fora can advise you if you would like to listen to swedish live blues.

Re:Help needed! - 2006/01/20 23:03The blues situation in Sweden is OK,just like Bluespelle says if you want to go out and see a band live,but the radiostations,what can I say,the music they are playing is the same old rubbish,dancemusic,techno,hip hop,just jokin´,but seriously,there isn´t one single radiostation that plays the blues,and that´s not a shame that´s a disaster, by the way,where are you from? and do you play any instruments?

Where should I start...Yes,I have a band and thats why I was asking ´bout those dj´s;there´s a record coming up soon and I´m trying to find "forums" that would play it.
I´m from Finland.In here thing´s are quite OK with blues.One national broadcast that plays blues on every monday at 21-24.You might know the DJ;Esa "T-bone" Kuloniemi from Honey B & the T-bones!
